i am thinking of putting in an Eclispe navigation system and taking out the spare tire and putting in Alpine subs and amps in the trunk. What do you guys think about a system like that?

 

I think that Alpine amps are a bit overpriced, but I love them. Other than that, don't get a flat. I want to see pictures of you fiberglassing.

i will definitely post some pics when its all done. i am getting the eclipse in next month but not sure when ill be able get the alpine in, lotta money.

Why do you want to turn your trunk in to a glove box? I have two big azz amps and a 12" sub, and have more room in my trunk than I did with the skipper1000.

 

I agree with Hawg. Also, don't discount the merits of Infinite-baffle mounting. Especially in this car where dedicated midbass drivers come from the factory. It's almost criminal NOT to do IB....that said, lock me up 'cuz I'll likely go the easy route with the Scosche box or MTX or Q-Logic.
