Hey guys, real quick - I know everyone wants them, and I'm trying to get them done ASAP - the one the machinists gave me Friday he screwed up and moved things the wrong direction - I have not seen a revised piece since. (This is why we're bringing our work in-house 100% to solve this issue). Add to that this week is the window launch (over 200 orders we're trying to process along with the normal daily volume) and you can see we're backed up a bit right this second. (of course me getting sick didn't help either).

Anyway, as soon as I can have them, you will too - trust me, I want one too

+1 on that... I'm waiting also... No worries though, that just gives me more time to save to pay for it! Hahahahaa! Whenever you are ready Marcello!

Update - the anodize shop that has been messing up everything as of late finally is investing in a new tank, heater, etc.. for our work, and it should be up and running in a couple more days. Hopefully that will get our satin finish parts running consistently again without issues, and allow us to get the manual trans bezels in ASAP when they are ready, which they should be by the time they are ready to anodize them.

I'll keep everyone posted as we get them closer to production.

HA!! If you only knew the controlled disaster we work under... we're moving towards the goal though, so it's all good at the moment.

Anyway....

5 Speed (manual) Shifter bezel is in production. We're going to miss FFW by a week or two probably, but they will be coming back from finishing within a couple weeks, so we'll post pictures and all as soon as they are available for shipment. Price is the same as the auto bezel since we start with the same block, and the cycle time is almost identical.

64.00 satin anodized
74.00 triple-chrome plated

Available with and without the GT lettering engraved.

Yep - the outside vendor who does the anodization has been the holdup until now

Yes, anodize shop was a big hold up since they kept screwing up the parts - but they have a new tank, and we also have another shop doing too now, so we have a backup for them...

The manual, it was just a matter of getting time to get it right. The original pieces were not bad, but the finished ones are much better.

Acckk!! How on God's green Earth were you able to do it? I don't even have them "available" yet on the webstore - it shouldn't have let you order them.... plus I can take care of you on that, but the options weren't turned on yet for the finishes or anything...

It's not a big deal, I just don't want to be sitting on a bunch of pre-orders for this too Anyway, it's not like it will be another 6 months - just a couple weeks to run them through, and we'll get them out and available.

You know where there's a will there's a way!

I told you what I wanted on the PayPal receipt and I know that you have not released them yet but since I started this thread and have paid for them I guess I am first in line!

So can we pre-order this part? If so, I'm all over it!

Please no - just give us a couple weeks to get them done and ready, then we'll open it up for everyone. We have this little louver project going on right now that has us pretty busy without having another pre-order / backorder thing going at the same time....

No harm, no foul H4xoR

It's great everyone wants to get this from us, we're happy to about that, just don't want anyone's order getting lost in the mix at the moment - it's easier to just hold off ordering until we have them, then it is easy to process them right through the system.

I hate backorders... let me be more clear - I hate having to backorder something for someone else because I hate it when something I want gets backordered.

No, no trouble - just still curious how you were able to make the website do it... I'm glad everyone wants to get this piece, just don't want a bunch more backorders sitting around - hard to keep track of even with their own folder.

Ok, I'm off to go put louvers on our car today
