Unhappy Shaker 500 Reinstall

Hello everyone. I am new to the site. I have been lurking for a long time now. I had a 68 coupe but sold it when my son was born for the money. I told my wife I would get another Mustang as soon as we could afford it. Five years later I found a 2005 Mustang GT for the right price. However...

The stereo in it was a cheap Kenwood single DIN head unit that I hated from day one. I purchased a Shaker 500 unit off of ebay but when I removed the kenwood I found that the previous owner had cut off the factory harness connectors. I found some "factory" male connectors on ebay and purchased them. The problem is I dont know which wires are which outside of the power and speaker wires. I need some help from someone with experience with this.

If the plug end was cut off the factory harness cant you just match the colors of the wires in your dash to the wires on the new harness end that you have?

You need the electrical pin out for your year vehicle. It will give you the the pin number and color wire for the plug. If you go to alldata.com you can register and get the full wiring diagram and pin out.

The harness I bought is a generic one for 2005+ fords. It is labeled but I dont know what all of the wires are for on the vehicle harness.
