Has anyone purchased this kit? If so can you comment on the quality and do you have any pics. It says it's an 11 piece kit but from the schematic drawing it looks like 7 pieces to me. I'm also worried that it may cause new interior rattles. Any comments would be appreciated.

Looks great Leslie... thanks for the input and pic. I see others here have this same kit so I feel confident enough to go ahead and order.

There are two types of kits that you may want to be aware of, one is put on with a strong adhesive ( Woodview ) and the other with 3M tape. Good and bad points on both, but if you use the adhesive type and decide you want to take the kit off you will destroy whatever it is attached to.

Woodview make a nice kit. No worries about rattle or adhesion. Had mine on for about a year now.

I have the Woodview OEM dash kit and I am very happy with the quality. Take your time when you install it and be careful NOT to get something crooked. They really stick once they are applied.

Here's an old, but quite thorough, thread on the subject.

M/P This is a mod I still enjoy everytime I get in the car. Well worth the $ IMO.

I saw someone who did just the center stack(no radio), console and window switch plates in wood the other day-it looked pretty good. Reminds me of my 67 firebirds Im surprised they havent done a wood rimmed wheel yet, most Ford's have it available.

Dream Car Factory has a wood wheel for the 05's. Of course it's $1200, but it's still wood.

Paul, I like how you have only the trim and select pieces installed, not the entire kit.

I might do something similar after seeing your pics.

Thanks. It makes a world of difference when you get in the car. With just the black plastic, everything looked dusty all the time.

Did you end up getting the double brushed color or satin nickel? How close is the match with the factory IUP? Thanks.

Satin nickle....it has a brushed effect and looks like the steering wheel spokes with IUP.

I've had the Woodview double brushed aluminum kit for a while. Easy install, looks great, and no rattles or issues.
