Satellite antenna placement
I was thinkin' of putting my Serius antenna up on the rear deck, but I'm curious to know how the signal might be effected by the tint? I have 3M film with a 98% UV rejection and some odd 80% heat rejection or whatever. There's no metal or reflective film.... I'm wondering if anyone has tried this yet, and would they know how it works? I haven't installed the satellite receiver yet, and I suppose this might be good to know so I don't have to move it later.

I also have mine on the rear deck, but I have no tint. I did notice that it does drop out every now and then but only for 2 seconds or so. On my last trip from DC to NJ and back it dropped maybe 3 times (not including going through the tunnel of course). I don't know if that's a lot or not but it doesn't really bother me.
