I'm installing the Pioneer AVIC-D1 and it has a lead that you are to hook to the reverse lights that will kick off the rear view camera should I ever decide to get one and install it.

The light wires are all in a bundle. Anyone have a wiring diagram for it or know what color wire I should splice into?

Thanks

I'm not at my car now (obviously, I'm at my computer), but take out one of your taillamps and pull back the little bit of black tape that goes to the reverse lamp. Get a wre tester and check which wire shows power when in R. Then find that wire in the bundle, test again to double check, and splice there.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but that's how you can find out if no one else replies back.

Not sure what you mean by "kick off" but, on the passenger side of the car, the main harness feeding the rear lights is located under the door sill plate. The wire you are looking for is white w/yellow stripe. It will be hot when car is in reverse, powering the back-up lights. You can confirm this with a lighted 12 volt tester by removing the plastic panel in the trunk. Your harness is in plain view.
