[attachmentid=44430][attachmentid=44431]Here is a picture with the panel off. Now, can someone tell me the proper way to hook up the dual voice coil 8w3v2 using the OEM amps and wiring? Is it series or parallel? Thanks

Ok so the sub baskit is attached to the door panel and does not connect to the actual door in any way? Also the clear plastic that covers the door...its sealed behind the sub basket??

Maybe its not as bad as I thought. I could mount the sub to the door panel and not have it in a "box". Just need to have the right sub for ib setups. I was afraid the sub basket attached to the door so it wouldnt shake and rattle with the sub. That doesnt look like its the case...

I'm suprised there's not a nice clean factory replacment for our speakers... I have the 1000 and would love to replace the speakers, but want to keep it as stock as possible!

Silly question here, but before I pull to hard and break something, how do you get the round speaker trim off the grill? It seems like a separate piece, but I can't see any clips or attachment points.

Thanks, hawgman. I was just worried about ripping it off permanently. Sometimes...well most times actually...I have the tendency to be a bull in a china shop.

For those that have replaced, a couple questions:

1) Did anyone have to make an adapter for their new subs? My Fosgate's rim diameter is like 1/2 inch smaller than stock so I can't use the stock holes and screws.

2) What color wires are positive and negative?

3) How long did you have to hit each door with the heat gun. I tried for like 20 minutes but I wasn't able to make much progress.
