Removing the shaker 500?

I have a shaker 500 and I want to install subs into my car so I got an RCA adapter to put on my shaker 500. How do I get the shaker 500 out so I can hook up the RCA adapter to the back of it? Thank you.

There are links that have been previously posted showing exactly how to remove the radio. Essentially, you have to remove the center console, then the two "wings" on the left and right of the radio (they pull off) and then remove the panel that covers the radio and contains the climate controls (after removing the harnesses)

Hey Arizona, what is the rca adapter you speak of, and is it necessary to add any amp to the Shaker 500?

Thanks

The RCA adapter is used so I can hook my 2 12" subs up to the shaker 500. Yes it is neccassary to add an amp if you will be adding extra subwoofers like I am. I am adding 2 12" kicker subwoofers.
