removing the antenna?

i searched but i couldnt find what i was looking for. If i recall correctly their was someone on here that had shaved teir antenna and replace it with another antenna that is in the car or something like that. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what i was talking about

Are you talking about a complete removal (base and all) or just replacing the antenna with a shorty?

Yes, I know what you are talking about. I'm getting the same thing done when my car goes into the body shop next month. Other than that I'm not sure what you want to know.

I saw the new Shelby at the Washington Auto Show, I noticed it had one of the short 1 inch antenna's. Anyone know how well they work ?
