Redline boots installed
Very quick installation (30 minutes), very good fit, although not perfect.
I like the way the colors match the original interior.
Both boots were ordered from www.redlinegoods.com and delivered in 5 days! The leather is high quality too.

The console isn't padded, but I am sure one could cut out a padding from a thin sheet of foam or anything similar. I can tell you that anything up to 1/4" in thickness could fit under the leather cover.
The ebrake boot and the armrest cover together were USD 90, althoug sold separately they would cost more (see their website, http://www.redlinegoods.com/Mustang05armrest.shtm ).

It's just the reflection of the flash. The pics were taken inside the garage, without any natural light. If you look at the first pic, you'll notice that the color of the armrest matches the color of the seats almost perfectly. In the same shot, the ebrake boot has the same color as the side of the driver's seat, where the light fell under the same angle.
I'll take another pic tomorrow in natural light and post it here.

If it looks like this after only 5000 miles in 5 months... :notnice:
Is this happening to anyone else with the red leather?
P.S.: it can't be me, I weigh about 185 lbs, this should be well within limits, right?

As for the seat wear, I have already notified the dealer. And every time I go in I remind them about it. Was told it was noted, but nothing could be done until it actually cracks or has a hole worn in it. And....they said it was a pretty common thing with their seats, not just on the Mustangs.

I got mine shipped from their workshop in Poland, maybe they work with different leather and/or colorants?
