Gangsta slouch = laugh out loud funny!

It always cracks me up to be behind one of those kids trying to look cool doing that....I often wonder if they realize that it just makes them look reallllly short!

Like little kids sitting on phone books trying to see over the windshield!!!

But this story also reminds me of the time my sister was whipping the rearview mirror around to "check her make-up"...and ripped the mirror right off the windshield.

Well I took my car to the dealer today and they replaced the windshield. Since I decided to upgrade the mirror, I asked them to leave it off and they did. Unfortunately the stupid farking widow installer wacked my hood in one spot and my fender in another. The fender is no problem because it is sorta hidden but the hood is more obvious. I was a pissed off hombre and really cannot believe that my car already has a chip in the paint and it is not even a month old yet!!!

The dealer has given me the option of trying to touch it up or repaint the entire hood. I really hate to do the whole hood just for a small chip but dammn, it is so new still. I had them touch it up for now and I will see how I feel over the next week or so. I did get them to put the damage and offer in writing so nobody developes amnesia (spelling?).

It is not the end of the world but it does not make it suck any less. Atleast they made my mirror install a bit easier. My new mirror will be here Tuesday.

Thats the good and the bad of it.

Bob

That sucks!!!!!!!! As an owner of a Redfire I know that it is impossible to touch up a chip in the paint. I have several in mine and they're all noticeable. I'd have them repaint the entire hood if it was mine.

FYI... have the hood re-painted. They will only actually color the area where the damage is, they should just wet-sand and re-clear the entire hood after that repair. Nice time to add those painted stripes!!!
