rearview mirror on 07

Can't get the rearview mirror off my 07 GT/CS so I can upgrade to homelink. Does anyone have or know what the trick is, must need a special tool or just know where to apply pressure... HELP

I think you just pull down from the top of the mirror, but it is scary because I always felt like I was going to brake the windshield. you might be able to call a glass company of look for a .pdf on it, I am sure someone has it on here.

I used that technique and it worked. The onlly differance was as i was compressing the tabs with the screwdriver I rotated the screwdriver to lever it off. It was very easy .I to was very worried about glass fracture. Just go slow and easy you only need to move it past the locking tabs a bit and mine came off easier than I thought it would.
