Radio Harness

I'm looking to replace my factory radio (shaker 500) very soon and have seen mentions around the forum of having to solder in diodes and this and that to not have amp turn on thump among other things, my question is which harness is best and what is needed to get it RIGHT?

I went to my local audio shop and picked up a harness adapter for $10.00 and than went to radioshack and picked this up to remove the "POP" you get from the subs. http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...tId=2062599&cp.

Just follow TacoBill's how-to
