Mine have been doing that too for a while now. I don't think you can just buy new buttons. I think you'll have to replace the whole HU, which is why I've just lived with it. Good luck with your search.

I have a faceplate with buttons and the chrome ringed ***** for a Shaker 500. It came out of my 08. It's use requires swapping the circuit board from your original to this one. Or just remove the buttons and ***** you want to use and install them in your original faceplate. For anyone who has always wanted the chrome ringed ***** this is an ideal opportunity for you.
