Quick question - Sunvisors - are they easily removable?

Has anyone ever removed their sun visor (or whatever it's called: the thing you flap down or to the side to block the sun while you're driving)?

I'm planning on going to the drag strip for the first time this weekend and I would like to have it on camera, but I need to mount it securely with a camera mounting bolt. I'm too chicken to drill a hole through my roof liner, but I wouldn't mind making holes in the sun visor, if it meant I could just remove it and replace the visor if I ever decided I didn't want a camera there anymore.

Is it hard to remove?

Thanks.

3 screws. My little sister could remove them.

I bought this "Cruise Cam" about a year ago and it works great. It isn't expensive, it's light weight, quality built, adjusts to fit any car and does a great job. You may be able to get one UPS RED to you for the weekend.

Dude! I have been looking for something like this for months! Arghh! THANK YOU! *I'm buying this right now* It may not arrive in time for the drag strip, but there will be other runs... and will be in time for my first autox on March 30th. THANKS!

Sweet. I just found out they cost 80 bucks to replace, so I think I'm just going to remove it and make use of the factory screw locations to mount the camera for this weekend. Thanks for the help.

Why would you need to replace anything?

I wanted a backup plan in case I decided to move my camera and didn't want to have a camera bolt/hole in my sun visor anymore.

Upon further contemplation though, since this camera is to be permenantly mounted in my car, I think I might just bolt it to the visor as originally planned. (Right now it just has a flat part sandwiched underneath the visor)
