Questions about custom leather

Has anyone here had their seats custom apholstered? I've been thinking about having my seats done in Chestnut brown like the BMW 335i has an option for (see pic)

How much should I expect this to cost? I'm thinking of doing all 4 seats, the door inserts, and possibly the center armrest.

You should contact this place that has these Katzkin Tuscany seats in Ameretto on ebay. A nice brown color, very soft leather, and a stupid good deal at $1000!!!! off retail They had them on ebay for $199 and no one bid on them. I bet if you gave them a call, and they still have them, they would sell them to you for that.

The Tuscany leather alone is a $300 option. I wanted these seat leathers so bad, but couldn't get spousal approval.

A full set of Katzkin leathers for 200 bucks is a great deal.

Here's a pic of the color:

What's wrong with Tungsten and tan? I'm sick of the car being so monochromatic. Everything's a shade of grey on that car. Grey paint, aluminum trim, black plastic, black seats...black taco...black floor...you get the idea. What color combo would you say goes?

I think your car would looks SWEET with that color brown inside a Tungsten car. I sold a new 2010 Red Candy GT with the Saddle Brown seats. LOOKS SHARP!! Its your car, and you can do whatever you choose to do. I agree that everything is monochromatic. I have been adding color to my interior since I bought it. Its too dark as its Dark Charcoal. Let us know how you make out.

I agree, good call. I have seen the saddle brown seats on the mustang also and it does look sweet. Its something different and not so "to the books". I say go for it. Good luck.

I like seeing those European colors other than run of the mill gray and beige. I think it looks great with silver or gray cars by adding a sophisticated warmth. Love the saddle color seats available in the 2010 Mustang as well!

Go for it man. One of the options I'm considering for 2011 is Sterling Gray/Saddle..
