Are the guages (mycolor) the newer electroluminecent ones? I guess i can not tell from the pictures alone. I have not got a chance to really see one (stang GT) for myself yet, but i have been seeing these gauges popping up in a lot of my friend's new cars, and even in the the GTO (i know, sore example). I really like the added visibility, and "cool" look to them. Also, does anyone have a good pic of their mycolor set to "white", or the 9,9,9 (white) setting. Thanks.

If you're refering to the old white face gauges where the whole face lit up at night, no. I think Roush is the only one that brought those back for this year. I had a set in my '03.
Also the numbers for the MyColor only go up to 5. (hence 125 different colors)

No, I'm referring to the high quality LED guages that are found in Honda, Nissan, VW, Audi, etc. They aren't simply backlit, they have seperate lighting for each part of the guage.
Does anyone have a photo of them lit up, not one of the photoshopped pics from the gallery.

and as for the colors there are 5 shades of each red, blue and green

The MyColor guages are lit by LEDs, and the red needles do have the same 3D effect that the Honda/Acura gauges do.
They don't look like the old-school backlit gauges... they look much better, more modern.
Now the green message center text... now that looks very 1985.

The green message center is very old fashioned looking. I don't like it all that much.

Just a quick question when does the fuel guage turn red when your low on gas like how many miles to E?

The lowest that I have gotten was 14 miles to E. I think it only took 14.3 gallons, so 1.7 gallons actually remained in the tank. Gauge didn't turn red.
I don't like to run the fuel too low, since the fuel pump is cooled by the fuel in the tank.

Me neither -or- I didn't notice. Mine's been down to 1 mile to empty.

My fuel guage has turned red a couple times. The "XX miles to empty" message is just too tempting to challenge. I've run it to "0 miles to empty" and it still got me to the gas station.
