Problem: Foglights come on??

I have a 2008 GT with anti-theft and after market remote start. I don't know if they have anything to do with this. But, anybody have this problem? My fog lights will just go on sometimes in the garage. My wife told me this one day and I thought she was dreaming. I saw it myself today while just walking by my car. The fog lights went on, then after a bit went off. After awhile I thought maybe the anti-theft stuff, so I bumped the car, nothing.
Why me

Can't say on the 08, but on the 05s & 06s the key has to be on for the fog lamps to work.

On the 07 & 08's when you open the door or hit the unlock on fob, they come on for a bit.

My fog lights don't come on like that. The only thing that comes on during a remote unlock is the headlamps, parkinglamps, taillamps and dome/dash lamps. When I lock, the parking lamps and taillamps flash and the dome lights go out.

The SJB on these cars is very sensitive to any electrical changes you make to the system. I installed an aftermarket alarm and it caused several weird things to happen. One of which was , it started making the SJB think the key was in the start position whether it was or not. When you pushed the clutch in it would engage the starter , even if the key wasn't in the ignition. I took it to the dealer to verify that it was indeed the source of the problem and had it removed ...

Mine come on when I unlock the doors. I have the factory HID's. Maybe that's why the fogs come on instead of the headlights.

I do have the HID's and you're right, the fogs come on.
