The leather is stiff enough to hold the stitches. We believe the thickness of the material to be the culprit. Adding another layer would increase the thickness, giving more bunching. We may be able to adjust the tightness of the stitching. It's something we'll have to experiment with and improve over time. We constantly make adjustments, that never ends.
