Pony Interior
Since I've restored 65-70 classic Mustangs for about 15 years, I'm sure I know what you want as a "Pony" interior. However, there is a "Pony" option available on the 2005 now.
My GT Deluxe with the cloth interior has small running ponies (about 1/2 inch high) embroidered into horizontal bands across all of the center inserts in the seat bottoms and seatbacks on all four seats. The ponies alternate dark and light in the bands and really look good on my Dark Charcoal interior.
If you're interested, I'll try to get pictures tomorrow.

Chris:
Thanks for the photo. I was aware of the fabric design, however I have my heart set on a leather interior. I can't decide upon a Sonic Blue with Charcoal Grey or Black with the upgraded Red interior. As I am waiting until spring to order I have a few more months of sleepless nights to decide.

Has anyone heard of an after market company who plans to make a pont interior for the 05?
I figure with the retro style, the pony interior is a natural.

I love the dark charcoal interior. Before the car came in, I worried that it would be too dark - my worry was unnecessary as it wasn't too dark and it was the perfect match for my Mineral Grey exterior.
And in reference to the "pony" issue, there is another thread in this forum that references a firm that will embroider your headrests with a running pony - at a decent price. I don't have the link to that thread but I did keep the link to the firm that does the embroidery beacuase I'm seriously considering having mine done:

This site shows pix of the red interior with the pony done in black.
Since you've got time I would search this forum for pix of both color combinations. I know I've seen both at various times while browsing.
Good luck, Chris
