ok i am about to take my dash apart and put the new firmware chip in my pie aux input adapter, since the radio keeps losing it. now am i going to be better off wiring it to switched power, like from the radio, so that i wont risk having to take the battery off to reset it? is there any disadvantage to doing it like this? should i follow the instructions and wire it to contstant?
