PIE adapter alternative: AUX2CAR ?

I just found something interesting:

http://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/product.php?productid=8421

Looks like another AUX adapter like the PIE one. I thought that the PIE adapter was the only one for '05-06 Mustangs, but this one says it will work for them as well.

Anybody here have one? Does it work better than the PIE adapter?

I just installed this in my car.
Installed easily.....no need to hook up a 12v. So no battery drain issue to worry about.
Once it was plugged in and my Zune was turned on, it recognized the Aux imput and was playing
The only problem was with the length of time it took for me to receive my order from AutoToys..... almost 3 weeks from the time I placed my order.
Other than that I would highly recomend this product.

I havent experienced any drop off of the signal.
I would imagine you could use a y adaptor to the rca connector to have more than one source.
I found this switch that might do what your looking for.......

Does this unit give you control through the factory radio or by using the mp3 player itself?

No it lets you input directly into the head unit instead of a FM modulator.

Sorry, I think i worded that question weird. What i meant was how do you actually select a song to play, by using the ipod or the factory radio controls?

No.... the adapter that I am using you would make your selctions using the ipod itself. There is an adaptor that claims to be able to let you control your ipod through the factory Ford radio.....

I am using a Zune so this wouldnt work for me.....

I just bought one of the IPOD interfaces from Fry's. I get back to my office, open it up and the directions state that it is not compatible with in-dash 6 disc changers. I call the support number and they stated that the company had no products for the Mustang or any Ford with the in-dash 6 disc.

I added this mount for my Zune. It's from Kuda USA. I thought it was a better alternative way to mount my Zune than to use double sided tape or to drill any holes or to put the player in my cup holder. Its very descrete and doesn't get in the way of anything and ind it is angled perfectly for using the controls of my player. It has been around for a while, but I hadn't seen anything about it on the boards. Just wanted to share.

I haven't had any probs since installation.....very pleased with its performance.
As far as Autotoys website, it does semm that something is wrong.
It should just go to there home page, but I too got the login pop-up. I would try back in a day or so.

Hmmmm......strange. It is the same model number that I am using and if you scroll down and look at the harness that they list to use with the adapter Mustang is listed there.
