I am at the same stage as you - planning the best wiring location. My CDC gauge pod has arrived and 1 of my 3 Autometer Cobalt gauges (water temp., oil & fuel pressure) is here. Still waiting on the other 2 gauges to arrive. What gauges did you purchase? One question I can't seem to get an answer on - is the factory O.P. sender 1/4" NPT or a metric thread?

The wires will go up between the defroster vent and dash. It's hard to figure out at first but once you do it's easy. That will also be on the passenger side behind the glove box. I used a coathanger to fish my wires from the driver side thru to the passenger side. I used a boost,FP, and DPIC gauge so I can not help you on the other parts.

Thanks Mike

If your a "mammal that cares" the factory engine oil pressure sender is 1/4" NPT. I confirmed it earlier this week.

ok so i finally got off my hiney to do this....do the wires run into the defroster vent and down, or over the vent....if they go over aren't the wires able to be seen from the outside of the car looking in?

The rear of the gauge pod actually sits over the front row of defroster louvers/vent. The wiring gets run into the vent (dash pad) and then back under the dash pad. The wiring sits under the dash pad and above the defroster vent, being cushioned by the foam seal. No wiring can be seen if done properly.

I used Autometer Cobalt electric full sweep gauges. Total of 17 wires routed betwen the dash pad and defroster vent.
