pedal extenders?

my girlfriend..is ...well tiny..like 5 foot .. and she has trouble reaching the gas pedal without hugging the wheel..and as much as i love to make fun of her by saying she looks like garfield on the steering wheel and stuff i figure its probably dangerous if the airbag deploys.

my question is .. are there any pedal extenders for the mustang?

You could probably make some pretty easily but the problem with that is then her arms will be to short to reach the wheel unless she has abnormally long arms that swing down at her shins

Ha..she don't need no pedal extenders. I'm 5'0 as well. I've always said the air bag would kill me if I wrecked though..

+2. I would love to push the pedals back a bit, or bring the steering wheel out a bit.

Anyone know of a steering wheel replacement that brings it out a couple of inches?

Ok..for some reason it is not working, you will have to cut and paste this. Hope this helps.

Could get her a pair of those goofy sneakers that have the four inch foam soles

That link above looks like it would do the trick.

There are special pedals for people w/ disabilities. Not sure where to look though. I saw them on that reality show w/ the little people family
