Question Opinions on Scott Drake console arm rest cover

Does anyone have a console arm rest cover made by Scott Drake? If so, what's your opinion? how was installation? Do they look good after install? Do they hold up well? They are $36.33 at partscheap.com and are available with Pony emblem and "Mustang," the GT logo, or the Shelby Cobra logo. PartsCheap also has a leather replacement (as opposed to a cover), which might be a better, if slighly more spendy, way to go...

I'd get the leather replacement. I'm not a fan of the Scott Drake stuff.

If I was to spend the money again, I would buy an aftermarket leather console with some padding. I upgraded from a stock plastic to a stock leather and it was prettier, but that was about it.

I currently have the Redline one , got it with the shift and e-brake boots ...

However , I just ordered the GT500 steering wheel which comes with a new shift boot and I ordered a new e-brake boot from a member on here who makes them and they look a lot better than the Redline one. Here's the new console cover I ordered to go along with the new boots. It's more expensive than the one in your link , but it appears to be a quality piece ...

I have the running pony one from Scott Drake ( partscheap.com ) and I think it looks great, I took it off and had an auto upholstery shop put it on for me they did an awesome job looks like a factory install

Did you ordered the Ford Racing steering wheel with shift boot, cause if you did that is a Bullitt steering wheel not the GT500 so there is no red stiching just the black stitch.

Yes you're right the stitches on the wheel are black , but the stitches on the boot are red which surprised me as I expected it to match the wheel. I ordered a e-brake boot from a member on here and had to have him change it to red stitches to match the shift boot ...

Is yours on backwards? From all the pics that i have seen, it is turned around from what you have? Still looks good though? Did you have any padding added?
