Nexus Gauge install

I just added a set of Autometer Nexus gauges to keep an eye on my supercharger install. I put in a boost/Vac and fuel pressure gauge, along with the control module and remote.

I went with the Nexus gauges to keep things in line with the factory My Color dash in my car (like the factory dash, the nexus gauges can change color, and will highlight a gauge showing a danger reading in red (or blue if the gauges are already red)

The system can also recall and display peak readings on the gauges, and data log onto a flash card for PC analysis.

The gauge pods are from Speed of Sound (www.speedofsoundllc.com) and have a perfect finish. They look like they came with the car.

The shift light atop the bottom pod is from Raptor Performance (http://www.raptorperformance.com/) It's a very nifty little device. Easy to install. Functions perfectly, and looks really nice (the angle in these photos don't do it justice)

You installed too soon. Alan is about to release a 3 gauge pod setup. He is already taking preorders.

+1. I have 5 Nexus gauges in my Marauder and was waiting for the A/F gauge which is supposed to be ready any time now.

Looks like I'll be getting them for the GT/CS now too.

No, I didn't. I like the looks of the 2 gauge pod much better. It looks cleaner and less cluttered to me.

If I install additional gauges, I'll try to get something like the Saleen pod for the dash top.

Very cool. They are infinitely adjustable to match the IUP color?

Not "infinitely". They have standard colors that match the MyColor presets, but the control module doesn't have a feature to create your own custom color, though the gauges themselves are capable of it.

There is some programming software promised by Autometer that may have that ability.

I don't have good pics of the area where the sender is installed, but basically, I got a fuel rail adapter for a GT (fits the 4.0 rail too) similar to this one (I don't remember what brand mine is): http://www.hillbankmotorsports.com/2...2005-2010.html and mounted it to the driver's side fuel rail, under the existing pressure sensor, and just threaded the Nexus sensor right in.

Power is taken from the passenger’s side fuse box. “B” for constant power. Do not use “A” for switched power. The “Add-a-fuse” tap that that I was using did not work in “C” so I ended up using the fuse right below “C”. Hope this helps.

What is wrong with using A for switched power? I think I have mine there.
