Hey, finally pulled the trigger on the double-DIN DVD headunit I was looking at since a couple of months now. After everything has been installed and reassembled, the airbag light now comes on when I start the car...

Could I have messed up something? I read something about faulty grounds, could that be the problem?

 

Make sure you plugged in the switches on the back of the bezel that goes around the radio..... they include the hazard lights, pass airbag, etc.

 

+1 I assume you mean the passenger airbag light and not the one in the cluster. Make sure none of the cabling is pinched or crimped as well.


Also remove the old stereo from the passenger seat
