I've got a 5 speed manual transmission in my GT. I bought the car a few weeks ago with the sport interior upgrade, the IUP was not available. I just had the six gauge/mycolor/msg center instrument cluster installed today. That option is awesome! However, when I put the car into reverse I get a beeping sounding. It's not the seat belt chime. It sounds like a dump truck in reverse, beep....beep....beep....beep. As soon as you take it out of reverse it stops. Has anybody heard of this problem before? The car did not do it before the cluster was installed. I called the service member, and he said he did not notice it.

Another little annoyance is that when I'm getting close to 80mph, I hear a light fast paced beeping sound. Have you guys heard that?

Neither one of those sounds in mine. I have the factory IUP with a Feb 28th build date.

the beeping close to 80 bothers me more I dont want anybody to tell me to slow down, no matter how subtle it is. My BMW does this too, but I can shut it off and set the speed it will beep at.

Thanks to 05stangKC, we got the beeping in reverse and the speed limit indicator turned off. It's just a matter of taking it back to the ford dealer and having them turn it off. Thanks KC

My car was making the same beeping noises. I also took it back to the service department, where they were able to fix it in less than 15 minutes.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but did you just take your car into the Ford Dealer and ask them to install the IUP? I'm not sure my dealer would be able to do this but thought I would ask.

Also, what was the price range to have it all installed?

How much did it cost to get the upgraded gauge cluster installed?
