Anyone install the new Kenwood dpx503 yet? You can change the color of the display and its a double din with front usb and aux. I have the 501 but I'm thinking about upgrading for the display (it even has a graphic eq )

Got it put in today, It is bad a$$...... If you don't have to have a tv screen in your dash or you don't want to break the bank, this is the head unit to get, I like the classic look of the 2 control ***** and yes you can change the colors of the *****, buttons and display independent of each other,(Goes great with the my color dash option!!) I will upload some pics latter,Oh yea it sounds great too!!

I posted a video demo of the DPX503. Keep in mind that I have it in variable color mode to show the different colors it can do but I like the display in blue (goes with the dash colors) and green buttons to go with the console green colors and red ***** to go with the red highlights everywhere else...

thanks. how difficult was the install?

 

you have to remove the top part of the console, the two inner kick panels and disconnect the harnesses for the hvac. Not to bad............
