i had the usual soft trim peeling on my originals. upper panel was all scuffed up from what i assume was somebody trying to fix it. after much thought , i sourced a used pair of V6 panels with the shaker system and did some customizing. other than a slight flub on the passenger side trim adhesion , im pretty happy. used the chrome trim which fit like it was meant to be there in the inner panel channel , added an emblem and sating door lock surround. transferred my satin handles from the old panels
here was the stuff going on. i think it was meant to mount flat against the panel , but didnt seem like it would look right and most likely catch on somebody getting in / out. it went in sideways in the channel and was visible enough but more subtle. you really had to work it around with a trim tool to get it to adhere fully.. thats where i messed up on the first one.i had got a few different emblems from fleabay and ended up deciding on the tricolor. gives it a little pop of color in the black dungeon

So, did you just get the whole inner door panels for the V6? Are they nade different than the GT ones, like … "do they not have the loosely glued on material?" I love the emblems added, Wife unit loves them too!

i found a set of complete V6 panels on ebay. they do not have the inner upholstery so they are a blank canvas. i didnt have to do anything except swap out the whole panels and dress up
