Got a pretty good sctratch from an idiot that was trying to carry 2 fans between my car and the dyno. I got 80% of it out and some people would say " are you crazy", But, I bought a HEAVY Duty compound, clear coat safe but it just won't get deep enough. It did not take paint off but looks just beyond the clearcoat. Any suggestions out there, or just take it to a body shop and kill the guy!

I'd just take it to the body shop. Everytime I have tried to go "just a little farther" in these kind of situations, I have gone just a little too far and ended up taking it to the body shop anyway. :bang:

"MaGuires, Diamond Coat 2.0" compound is the best I have found, cuts with no abrasives and will do exactly what you want and leave no swirls or marks, wax it up after polishing and you are set
