It was a little bit of work....the bezels are easy they come right out. The gauge cluster is a different story. I had to gently break the melted tabs on the back. Then scuff and mask the bezel. I started with a high quality silver spray paint, then a high quality clear coat. The most important thing is making sure the surface is roughed up enough so the paint won't chip off. When I was finished, I used a plastic welding epoxy to reset the bezel in the cluster housing. All in all, the masking was the biggest pain. I'm not sure I would be comfortable with taking the chance of messing up someone elses bezels. They are expensive to replace. But, I'll answer any questions and help in any other way I can. Thanks for the feedback. Oh...and... my five year old got me the dice for my b-day. I think my wife put him up to it.

Notice the Brake pedal! I think the factory pedal is a bit small for my big feet I like the Mod!

That looks great. It should have come from the factory like that. The standard interior is too plain. But your mod ads just enough pizazz

Looks nice. If you dont mind which pedals are those from. Are they full replacements or just covers, and how was the install? Thanks for any info.

They are just covers that I picked up at Autozone for $20. I work there part time and got them at a discount. They have metal plates that go behind the pedal and screw to the foot plate (real easy). The gas pedal uses double sided tape and a massive hose type clamp. So far they have been very secure. They were hard to find because most of them were bright chrome etc (most were too flashy for me). Hope this helps.

Wow, very nice! When I first looked at the pictures, I was trying to figure out what the heck you painted, since it is so perfect it looks factory or aftermarket.

Tony - I'm trying to figure out what you painted...just the bezels (chrome rings) around the dash cluster and A/C vent areas? Looks nice but seeing the brushed nickel on the steering wheel threw me for a minute and I thought you had painted the IUP surfaces black - but now I see the door handles are black so you didn't have IUP......right?

Does look good - and I had thought that all the bezels came chrome - what color are they on non-IUP cars - matte black?

From what I know, all of the bezels came chrome. I prefer the more subdued look of the silver vent bezels and cluster bezel rather than the chrome. I originally had the sport appearance package not the IUP. I have the IUP sill plates naw and am going to paint the trim rings around the handles to match the silver on the bezels. I'll probably stop there. Too much of a good thing can bad. Thanks for the feedback.

Very nice looking work. I think it ads favor to the non-IUP dash.

Here is the latest that I have done on the int parts. Since my dash bezels are aluminum instead of chrome and the vents are black, I figured I would make the door handle bezels aluminum and leave the handle black. Kind of matches. I'll put up a pic as soon as I get my Stang back and get them installed. (approx Wed)
Thoughts?
