Hello people !

I changed the driver's seat (which has no side airbag, but is electric) in my car to a Corbeau LG1. The physical install went very, very well with the supplied bracket, took me no more than 45 minutes to swap the seats.

However, there is a wire coming from the seat belt which I couldn't hook anywhere since it goes thru the main electric harness... I would probably have to strip the seat of its wiring and plug it in, but I will put my original seat in for winter.

My problem is that the airbag light always flashes, then comes solidly lit everytime I start the car... Does this mean that my airbag won't deploy if I hit something ? Is there a way to get rid of the light or make everything work right ?

I tried my local dealer but were of no help, so were Corbeau and the Corbeau retailer who sold me the seat.

Actually what you need is a dummy plug. I worked, since left for Ford and when we would build a truck with non power seats it would have a dummy plug for the plug. This will mean you have an open circuit from now on.
