Need Help ASAP

Ok i was fixing my friends car and getting it set up for a Fuzion selfpowered basstube, ok we got the power, controller, and highs set up but we can not figure out how to get the lows hooked up, it has RCA connections and we want to know how to hook it up to the stereo, it is the factory single CD set up. was wondering if this will help and how would we hook it up :

i know many would recommend just switch out the HU since it is just a single CD but he is saving money for a supercharger and we just bought all this stuff on sale, any and all help is appreciated

I don't know alot about car systems, I work with commercial audio. If those RCA jacks are line outputs from the head unit, you should be able to Y those to the line level sub amps inputs. If the sub amp has a built in crossover, it would just take the lows for the subs. Check the documentation and see what it says. My guess is that you need 2 female to male RCA Y's from Radio Shack, if you used those RCA's to feed the high's.

well we set up the wires and hooked the RCA's to the PIE adapter even though i know that is useless since the PIE is an input not an output, but i was wondering if the harness with the RCA's on it is an output for the lows. The subs have everything intergraded, and it just needs the high and mid connections and the low connections but for now the thing is just another speaker instead of a sub without the low connection. What i want to know is how can we tap into an output for the lows on his car even though it is not a Shaker, i know the shakers have wiring that runs to the door subs we could have used but anyone know how to wire the stereo so we can have the RCA's for the output of the lows. i know if we can get the RCA's from the radio we will just add an extension peice so it will mate the two male connections

i guess what we are looking for is a Line-Out converter, would be nice to have a wiring diagram of the stereos pins, anyone happen to have one

YOu should be able to just buy a line-out converter that converts high level input (speaker level) to low level RCA level. You could tap into the rear speaker wires right at the rear speaker for the high level side- just remember to get the polarity correct. It won't damage anything if you don't get the polarity right, but it won't have as much bass if they're out of phase.

You can get a LOC just about anywhere. Car stereo shop for sure, BestBuy probably has them, Crutchfield probably has them to if you want to order one.
