My little tribute to 1960's Mustangs
I've been browsing this forum and picking up ideas along the way. I am happy to see the originality and actually seeing some folks posting photos of the results.
I picked up my Windveil Blue Pony Package on Feb 8, 2006. I had already collected some interior dress up items in preparation for that big day:
1. UPR A/C *****
2. UPR Mirror control
3. UPR Door Pins and Valve Stem
4. Some emblems (1964-65 tri-bar glove compartment emblem and 1967-68 dash panel emblem from Scott Drake)
5. Cornfield key chain (got two, one for the key and the other, you'll see in the posted pictures)
6. 1968 Mustang lettering, which I placed (with velcro) behind the two rear seats, visible through the rear window.
Let me know what you think.
I've got on order some MGW products: cup holder bezel, E-brake cover, coat hanger, power outlet plug.
Seeing pictures from others is great and inspiring.
Some pics not too good quality, and yes I did have snow and ice on the car when I took the pictures.
By the way, there may be an obvious answer, how do I find the build date of my Mustang, is there a sticker somewhere on the car? Eventually, I would like to get a plaque like the Source Horse that details the build date and owner, I think that is cool.

I like the little interior touches. I'm a big fan of them (see sig). Bet you can't wait till spring to get the snow off!

Sweet. Did you use fender emblems for the door interior? How did you stick them to the door? I am not too certain to use double-side tape on the door panel interior.
I have a pair of Etched Effects running pony decals from Chroma-Graphics, I am contemplating where to put them.
I agree, I can't wait till spring time.

If I remember correctly I got the door ponies from Texas Mustangs. They had tape on the back and are just stuck on.

Where did you get the emlems on your glove box and on the center console thing from? They look great!

I live in Canada, so I searched a Canadian vendor (to avoid any added cost due to customs). I got the emblems from:
http://www.themustangshop.ca/site/
They are made by Scott Drake enterprises:
http://www.scottdrake.net/
You can contact them to find a dealer near you.
Thanks for the compliments. In general I think there are so many good ideas from the forum members. I really like looking the various pictures that are posted.
