Well, I'm not sure exactly which interior option my car came with, but I don't think it was the IUP. Anyways, the interior is black and that parchment color(tan), and the door scuff plate was that same tan color. Every time it was brushed up against, the scuff marks would show up pretty bad because of how light the color was. So, I decided to order a set of black ones from fordparts.com, and then I had seen the scuff plate inserts on ebay, as I'm sure some of you have too. I thought it would look good against the black, so I ordered and installed both. I like the way it turned out, the inserts were well made, and overall I am REALLY happy with how it turned out.

 

That would also look really good with some of the new '07 two tone interiors.

 

Ihave light graphite interior... and I had thought about doing that.. just because the contrast looks good in the doors, if you have IUP. I figured I'd wait until I replace the carpet though. The light grey carpet was a retarded idea, if you ask me. And... the jackasses in my aparment complex resurfaced the parking lot, and they blocked off any way to get from my apartment door to my garage without walking over some of that crap. I just left the car in the garage for a couple of days and drove the Expedition. A couple of weeks later, I noticed a nice big *** strip of tar on my nice clean grey carpet, right on the inside of the rocker panel. So.. black carpet will be coming, along with 2 tone leather when I reskin the seats.
The two tones look good, man. Nice job.
