Mustang pre-wired for ambient lighting?

Mustang pre-wired for ambient lighting?
So when I was installing my head unit an had the center console piece out, I saw what I believed was a plug for the ambient control switch on the center console piece. Is this possible? Its an 08 gt premium. I already built it in my own foot well lighting, but I'd love to have the cup holder lighting.

if you have a manual shift, i think what you saw is a connector for a auto shifter. jim010 has a huge writeup on here on how to install that. have to do a search
