mtx thunderform

does anyone have this sub? i've only heard of poeple having Scosche subwoofer but nothing on the mtx. i was just wondering on the performance (bass) of this unit?

I have it and LOVE it. It is being push by a Boston Acoustic amp and sounds great. Fits in the side like a glove.

I would like to see some pics as well. If you get the version that has the amp built in how hard I wonder is it to install. Does it get the signal from the speaker wires? I'm not good w/ this stereo stuff.

I have the one with the built-in amp and have no complaints. I do not need the high-end systems that some people have, but this one suits me just fine.

The built-in version does come with a adjustment dial that gets installed in the cabin for some "fine-tuning".

Do they thump or produce a really low resonatting bass or growl?

Depends on the driver installed in it. IDK about the MTX 4500, but I can think of about eleventy-billion 12" subs that would work well in that enclosure. 1.2 cubic feet sealed (same as the Scosche), but the MTX looks a little better to me. It will all depend on how much power, and what kind of sound you want.
