I have a 05 Gt with factory shaker 500 , love the sound hate the fact there is no mp3 jack . Is there one available and if so from where ? And how much of a pain is it to nstall ?

There is no mp3 jack adapter avaliable for the 05, but there are several Ipod interfaces avaliable. The one I have in my 06 is the brandmotion one. It give me full controll of the ipod from the stereo.

Or possibly you could get one of them FM transmitters to plug in to your MP3 player, then tune the radio to it...

To install that I believe you have to pull the radio. I was looking into those as well but decided to just get a new head unit. More money, but also more options and improved sound even from stock speakers. I will lose the six disc but gain a usb and sd card input. Its easier to put files on a card then on a cd anyway, and more room so the six disc will not be missed.
