mounting 6x9" speakers

i got me a pair of Kenwood KFC-M6945A 4 way 6x9" speakers and i've been thinking about ways to install them without drilling holes in my car..

is there an adapter plate of sorts that can make this work?

i don't think these particular speakers could fit in the door anyway, so i'm aiming for the rear deck for now.

my guess is they'll have to be installed from the trunk and mounted to the bottom of the metal panel.

any tips?

furthermore, regarding the front speakers.
i'm assuming they're 6x8" although i couldn't find anything in this size here.
what about the door subs? is there anything known to drop fit?

The speakers in the door are 5x8s, but I think you can get a adapter plate to make the 6x9s to work, but not real sure. When I replaced the speakers in my car ,I used the 5x8s.
As far as a direct drop for the door subs, I don't know about them.

There is no such speaker sizes as 5x8's. Our factory speakers are 6x8's but you can fit 5x7's. I'm pretty sure you can not fit 6x9's in the doors or rear deck. I had a hard enough time trying to fit my Premier 6x8's in the doors.

Sorry it's 5x7s not 5x8's!
