I have a Motorola hands free kit for my V551 cell phone. It is a hardwire cradle kit (not bluetooth). The kit has an option to turn the vehicle stereo volume down when the phone is in use (if the stereo is capable or compatible). The hands free kit has a single orange wire that would hook up to the stereo to enable this function.

Does anyone know if the Shaker1000 has this capability?

I guess my other question would be do I even need that feature?

I mean, how hard is it to reach over to my stereo and turn it down before I answer the phone?

Of course, if I am blasting my Shaker1000 and can't even hear it ring.... the feature might be good to have.... hmmmm
