Moleskin??
I called some local tint shops today for pricing and when I asked about "moleskin" they were like "WTF, Never heard of it...". So, what exactly is it? One moron even asked if it was "genuine mole skin"..
I'm going to try some fabric stores to see if they have something that will work. The tint shops say that they've done lots of Mustangs and never had any complaints. I know that all cars will eventually show wear on the tint film but are our cars particually hard on tint?

our car suck with tint, the older mustangs 04- have the felt already on the weather strip but the new ones it is just the rubber and dust and dirt get stuck in the channel and scrape thee tint bad over time, some people replace the tint just because of that
Moleskin - It is a type of soft felt with 3m adhesive on the back that stands up to heat, cold, and moisture 500% better than normal Velcro felt, it traps all of the dirt and dustso it does not scratch your tint. It comes in a long roll that you cut to the size of your windows inner weather strip

I've got them
Yes! our cars are hard on tint, because the have no felts in the inside of the glass, Just hard rubber. The Moleskins are easy to install. Mine have been in for 6-8 months, so far good no scrathces. I already had to replace my tint once ( before the Mole skins ) didn't take long for the rubber to scratch tint.
