Missing pockets, shift lever

What happened to the pockets on the back of the seats?
This shift lever is really slippery. Has anyone found a better replacement?

only if they're Oakley Blades.... any other model just wouldn't be the right look
I haven't ever seen pockets in the seat backs on a sports car..... did I miss something?
I really wanted to stick one of those big huge atlases in there. I get lost a lot.

I'm in Massachusetts. It was about 45 degrees today. I agree that the rubber is stickier than the plastic top, but it's still pretty dang slippery. Maybe it will wear in a bit.

I haven't had any problems with a slippery shifter, although it doen't get as cold here in So. Cal.
