What is the bottom right side number in the message center as shown here. The manual does not say what this number is and just today I noticed it.

I've gotten up to 34.5 MPG going like 35-40mph in 5th gear. Late nights without red lights are great.

Yes it probably is. This is not from my car. I hijacked the picture from a previous thread. I have a GT. The highest I've seen my gas mileage is around 21.5 it has remained steady at about 19.

Sorry for not telling you guys earlier about the pic

I get around 23 average going back and forth to work. On the highway I generally get between 23 ans 27 depending on if I have the cruise on or not. We put 3400 ,iles on the car lst month driving to Florida nad back and we averaged 22 for the entire trip. That includes idling in traffic waiting for three accidents.

HOW~!!!! I can never get that kind of mileage in a GT, I don't know if you have a V6, but the only way I can get mileage up is if I let go of the gas and watch the bars go all the way up. By the way I hate those bars. In my first car ever (Saab 9000), it actually told you your exact MPG at the moment. Not bars, but numbers which is what I think ford shoud have done. Because when I used to let off the gas I would be at 99+ MPG !! hehe now beat that Hybrid.

It helped to have no red lights on a "city" street. I only drove about 10-12 miles to get that kid of mileage, I was also in 5th gear, TC off, no HC trap, so the car wasn't doing much more than keeping speed. I'll try the same route again after I get my K&N installed.
