I am curious what you guys think of the manual shift ****? Are you looking at any aftermarket ones? If so, what are you looking at?

the IUP shift **** feels just about right, but looking at replacing it with a swirl ball with tri-bar pony from mrt-direct.

Love it, no need to change unless you have a shifter from an old car you just can't part with for sentimental reasons.

I love the IUP shift-****. If the Chrome ball was available from pre-production 05's , i'd get it. Other than that I see no replacement.

:notnice: I just hate that its from the european Ford Focus wagon. Someone mentioned this to me, and after a quick google image search, I discovered it was true:

I prefer the aluminum ball from the pre-production Mustang, as shown on Brad's Interior and Audio page:

Uuummmmm.........getting back to the shifter, I like it a whole bunch. Even the non-IUP looks good to me. But I haven't been in a manual yet, only taken an auto out, so I can't comment on how it feels.

I don't particularly care for the shift **** that comes with the IUP. It looks cheep next to the aluminum. I prefer the one that was on the show car but have found something I like almost as much.

The Momo Cobra shifter. I like the carbon and aluminum.

If you look at the car thoughout, you'll find tons of common parts. All of which help to make this car the $25K we love.

And I like the shifter...despite its "origins." Feel real nice, and alot better than the billard ball in my current car.

Doesn't bother me where it came from, and that Ford Focus interior looks pretty sharp in the details. I think the shifter is pretty cool and one of the better minor style elements in the Stang interior.
