So whats the difference between Ford taking a GT and making it a bullitt or someone else doing it. Its just a stang that the movie company made and used in a movie.
Does that mean you want to make a night rider to?

Hey dude, got a few questions for you. 1st, how much did they charge you for the dash panels? Second, I am assuming they are also replacing the airbag as well? I know the airbag panels do come off once you remove the airbag from the dash, but I was told by several that you cannot order the passenger airbag panels by themselves. Have to order the full airbag to get the dash. Let me know, as I love the look and am considering it for the near future.

I'm glad you mentioned that, I was just about to! I've owned a '73 SD T/A, a '78 Gold SE T/A and a 1981 Tubo T/A, and they all had very nicely made real aluminum machine turned dash panels.

I saw a Top Gear TV show today and the Bugatti Veyron (fastest production car eve rmade) has one, too. I think they look great.

+1 for the new Bullitt dash!

If yes, how much is it and where can we find it ?

Thanks !
YES, You can get them seperate for the 08 Bullitt. But it looks like you would have to order the passanger air bag @ $697.00 RETAIL. The other parts you need add up to $510.00 RETAIL for the three other parts.

BUT, The part numbers for the dash panels changed in late 07. So not 100% sure if they will fit. I dont know what the difference is with the dash.

KC may be able to make you a better deal on the parts.

That about sounds right from what I learned. I wasn't looking for the Bullitt panels but I asked the cost for just a replacement panel and they told me the whole airbag assembely needed to be replaced as they didn't sell just the panel.

To be honest I had my dealer order the parts for me on the new car purchase and they are going to install them therefore I believe that I was charged $600.00 for the dash pieces and installation. I will be able to let you know more information once the parts come in or I will try and call my dealer later today.

That's cool. IMO people adding these is not "cloning" the Bullitt. I would think the car would have to be dark green for that.

Yes but there really is no comparison in appearance. The '08 dash has class

I wouldn't be surprised if the machined dash becomes an option for future models.

$600 is not unreasonable for those pieces

The airbag could sell at around 500 something discounted along with the cost of the other panels, i could see it being done for 600 or 650 for parts, but labor installing that airbag is not cheap. I didn't think anyone would actually want the spend that kind of money to change the look of their dash.

Just put this on there http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ENGIN...spagenameZWDVW. Not mocking the idea, I'm serious. If you did the job right it might be tough to tell the difference.
