Question Looking at upgrading my system

I am looking at upgrading my system and have some questions; this will be done in stages, staring with a head unit, speakers, and then an amp.

Currently
Shaker 500 with Sat. radio

Looking at
AVIC D3 or equivalent
Questions,

I like the backup camera mounted in the key hole for the trunk, but how does the trunk release work without the lock assembly? I believe I will have to use the key fob but will that still function?

Shaker is rated at 500 watts, I understand that most of the power goes to the subs, but how does an AVIC D3 rated at 22 watts 50 watts peak compare to stock unit?

Can the factory sat antenna work with an aftermarket system? I am not sure if the connection is the same.

Thanks

Jeff

I just bought the Kenwood DDX6019 with NAV and Bluetooth units from Crutchfield. The antenna requires an adapter (it's a Chrysler antenna adapter!).
