Looking for rearview mirror radar detector mount

A store called Mr. Bracket Accessories used to sell this clip/bracket radar detector mount for something like $17. Now, it seems that they no longer carry it!

Does anyone know where I can pick up one of these?

I need one of them too, I hope someone knows where to get them.

I did find this link, it is not the same thing but it may work. Scroll down towards the bottom.

Thanks, I've seen that sight before. Guess we'll have to check out our mirror stems to see if it'll work.

In the meantime, the hunt continues...

I just received the 3/4" plain mount for the Escort model, it fits perfect and looks awesome, no more suction cups on the windshield. I would highly recomend to all who have an Escort detector and are looking for an extreme clean and easy install.

Thanks for the pics!

How does the radar mount to that bracket? Through the supplied suction cup angled mount with screws or something?

And I agree, very clean looking way to mount the radar detector. I'll probably end up getting it.

btw- Did you place your order online or call them up?

The mount comes with hardware to screw the suction cup mount to it, once you see it in person it is really simple. I ordered online, received within a few days, no problems at all.

How adjustable is the mount to get a level detector? I was looking at my mirror this morning and it looks like you have to have the mirror neck flat (90 degrees ) or the detector will be pointed wrong.

Maybe all that needs to be done to level the detector is to bend (to the correct angle) the suction cup bracket.

That is correct. Between adjusting the the post between the mirror and the windsheild and bending the suction cup mount bracket, the detector is level. There is no other adjustment on the new mount at all.

Thumbs up Great Product

I installed my radar detector mount today and it works great. I wish I had found the link sooner. Money well spent and now I can use my windshield sun shade and not have it interfere with the suction cup mount set-up. Two thumbs way up IMO.

BeBeep,
Is the Gentex mirror the same size as stock, 3/4" diameter? I have been looking at those electrochomic mirrors, but wasn't sure that the new detector mount would fit. Thanks

i tried a few solutions and finally settled back on my V1 suction cups mounted right above the rear view mirror..
it fits in just fine, and is supported by the dome lights enclosure from one side, and the mirror mount from another.. never fell in over 3 months now
it's also pretty concealed.. nobody can really see it from the outside..

i would have snapped a couple pics for you, but my baby is still at the bodyshop for her extreme makeover
