Since it's not possible to replace the entire dash with the upgraded leather wrapped one, has anyone ever seen a leather or vinyl dash mat, similar to the carpeted ones that are made, but leather or vinyl, that is molded to the shape of the dash? Or would it be possible to have something like that custom made?

i did a search for you and nothing really turned up. only saw those velour or carpet ones. i did come across this site though. not really helpful, but i think it shows your best bet would be to go to a reputable upholstery shop and have one custom made. hope this helped a little bit.

It is possible to change out to the leather one it is just a bunch of work. You could always call Katskinz and see if they would make a custom cover.
