Kevin any chance on getting these? Upgrade 08/09 Seat Belts!

Kevin,
I was at the dealer today and they had a Bullitt in the showroom. This Bullitt had a Kewel contraption holding the seatbelt. There was one for each side. It worked much better than that snap thing. I took a photo. Can these be purchased and installed in say a 2007? Let us know.....

Didn't he quit selling them due to possible crash liabilities?

I think he did stop making them but cant hurt to see if he has any left. I bought a pair off him a few months back, but I took them off. Nice product but I have a vert so it made using the bracket difficult due to the location.

I believe all 08+ stangs (hardtop) have them. They make an annoying clicking/snapping sound whenever you are adjusting them.

If someone seriously wants a pair I have a polished version that I can let go. I got them from n8rfastback. I would rather have the OEM ford version as I can't get used to the billet ones. Just let me know if you want them. Or PM me!

This Works Well for Me.

The Only way to Get the Extensions as shown on the First Post is to Get a Set of 08 Seat Belts. Current Tms Price is $250.00 for the Pair! 05/08/08

Dang, thats an expensive part for a little bit of comfort. I guess I'll hang on to those custom billit pieces which were a lot cheaper. Thanks for the info KC!!!

Hmmmm....$250 for the pair. You'd think that Ford would've figured this out by the time the car went in to its 2nd year of production. I'm on the fence about it so I'll have to give it some time to settle in.

I was actually referring to the seat belts that come in the 2009+ Mustangs that have the bar attached to them, that extends the seat belt out from the pillar, so it is easier to reach back and grab it. I have Recaro seats now in my car and I am finding it very difficult to reach back and grab it.

I know they are a complete replacement of the whole belt assembly. Just wondering what the part number and price is for them, if I can get them that is.

Thanks,

Sean

I actually was going to do this on my 07 GT-500. I stopped because of Drilling and never got around to doing it. If memory Serves you have to swap one of the mounting bolts on the belts. It was a length or thread pitch issue can't remember for sure. You also have to drill a guide hole in the trim panel at the A- Pillar. I still have it floating around somewhere. I was just going to do the Drivers side. The 08/09 Coupe Seatbelts are the same.

I will do some digging in the Garage tommorrow and see if I can find it. May jog my memory.Needs to go on Ebay. I am selling ALL the Nos Ford & Mustang Parts I have accumulated to keep the BOAT AFLOAT.

Seems to me I did a write up on these back in the day! I did on most of the 05-09 Retrofits.

8r3z63611b09aa L/h Us Msrp is $210.08 08/09 Coupe Seatbelts
8r3z63611b08aa R/h Us Msrp is $300.35

As an FYI I can smoke MSRP on these Particular Items at the present. But this is subject to Availability at time of Request.

KC
